St. Jude Children’s Research Hostpital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a world-renowned pediatric treatment and research center based in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1962 by entertainer Danny Thomas, its mission is to advance cures and prevention for life-threatening childhood diseases—especially cancer—regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

What makes St. Jude unique is that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. The hospital leads cutting-edge research and shares its discoveries freely to improve care for children worldwide. Funded primarily by donations, St. Jude has helped raise survival rates for certain childhood cancers from less than 20% to over 80%.
